Allah Is Enough For Me...

Assalamualaikum, everyone.

How have you been?

Hope you're all doing great.

Yesterday, when I was searching islamic videos on youtube, I found a wonderful nasheed.

The tittle of this nasheed is 'Allah is enough for me'. It's the story of prophet Yusuf AS and it's sung by Zain Bhikha. 

Have you heard about him?

Once, his song which titled 'Give thanks to Allah' was considered belong to Michael Jackson. But it's absolutely not. Have a hint?

Zain Bhikha is an Indian South African singer-songwriter. He has written several religious albums concerning Islam.

He has a stunning voice and that makes me like 'melting' and so touched.

Don't Be Sad...

Assalamualaikum my dear sisters...

Have you ever felt all alone in this world?
There's nobody to count your tears.
No one reaches out a hand for you to hold.

Have you ever felt like no one believes you?

When you have done the things by yourself, 

but people judging you.

And you felt that the things you've done were in vain.
 

Have you ever felt like no one understands you?

When you do have a good intention to spread the world about your faith,

And you felt that the whole world seems look down upon you. 

Honestly, I personally did.

And yes, it was really hurt...

And I was terribly sad...

I was about to give up.

But then I realized that there is no benefit by being sad, when I read La Tahzan (Don't Be Sad) book. It's written by Dr. 'Aaidh Al Qarni. He says in his book,

Don't Be Sad...

Do not be sad, because sadness causes you to regret the past, to have misgivings concerning the future, and to make you waste away you’re present.

Do not be sad, because it causes the heart to contract, the face to frown, the spirit to weaken, and hope to vanish.

Do not be sad, because your sadness pleases your enemy, angers your friend, and makes the jealous rejoice.

Do not be sad, because by being sad, you are complaining against the divine decree and showing vexation at what is written for you.

Do not be sad, because grief cannot return to you the one that is lost or is gone away. It cannot resurrect the dead; it cannot change fate, or bring any benefit whatsoever.

Do not be sad, because sadness is often from the devil and is a kind of hopelessness.

"Have we not opened your breast for you [O' Muhammad]? And removed from you your burden, which weighed down on your back? And raised high your fame? So verily, with the hardship, there is relief, Verily, with the hardship, there is relief [i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs]. So when you have finished [from your occupation], then stand up for Allah's worship [i.e. stand up for prayer]. And to your Lord [Alone] turn [all your intentions and hopes and] your invocations."  (Qur 'an 94: 1-8)

SubhanAllah...

My heart's  thrilled when I read this.

That's absolutely true.

I realized that I was wrong.

Then I promised not to give up anymore.

No matter what people say, I'll keep going.

I don't wanna be imprisoned in grief.

My sisters...

Even though you are sad and all the people let you down,

just believe, ALLAH KNOWS!

Even though no one believes you, but YOU HAVE ALLAH.

If someone disparages you, just say ALLAH IS ENOUGH FOR ME.

He is the one who knows the best.

He knows what you have done and what your intention is.

He knows all the things that we hide or express.

Forgive the one who made you sad. That would make you feel better.

DON'T BE SAD! BE PATIENT! DON'T GIVE UP!

ALLAH KNOWS! ALLAH IS WITH YOU!

YOU'VE NEVER BEEN ALONE!

May Allah alleviate our all pain and sadness.

TAQWA

Assalamualaikum wr. wb.

Peace be upon you...

Alhamdulillah, there is someone who appreciates what I've been writing here on my blog.
He is my brother in Islam who lives in India.
He sent me an e-book via email which titled 'Taqwa: The Provision of Believers', and asked me to spread the world about it.


When I asked him why he wanted me to share it on my blog, he answered,
"Verily! Man is in loss, Except those who believe and do righteous good deeds, and recommend one another to the truth and recommend one another to patience." 

SubhanAllah... 
I know it is the translation of surah Al Ashr. Yes, as muslims we have to admonish each other.
Masha Allah...
May Allah grant him reward for his kindness.

Well, Let's begin! :)
I'd like to share some information from this book.

We probably often hear this word, but what does it really mean?

Taqwa in literal meaning:

Syaikh Muhammad Tantawi (May Allah be pleased with him) says:

The word muttaqoon is the plural of Muttaqi. Muttaqi is the gerund from the verb ittaqa (he acquired protection). Ittaqa is from the root verb Waqa which means he protected himself from that which harms him.

While in legal (Islamic) meaning, let's see the opinions of the companions below:

Ali (May Allah be pleased with him) says:

'Taqwa is to fear the All Mighty; to act upon the Revelation; to be content with little and to prepare for the Day of Travel.'


Hasan Basri (May Allah be pleased with him) says:
'The ones who have taqwa protect themselves from what Allah has prohibited and act upon what he has mandated. Taqwa remains with them until they forsake many halal things fearing that they could be haram.'


Abu Darda (May Allah be pleased with him) says:
"The complete form of Taqwa is to fear Allah so much that one begins to fear Him from the potential sin in) a mustard seed and until one leaves what might be halal in the fear that it could be haram."
This is substantiated by the verse:

"So whoever does an atom's amount of good, he will see it; and whoever does an atom's amount of evil, he will see it."

Taqwa is the best investment a believer can make for himself/herself and for their children after them. It is the best provision a Muslim can carry if he wants to reach Allah's pleasure. The Quran calls toward this:

"And make provisions for yourselves, for the best provision is Taqwa. So fear Me O people of understanding!' (Surah Zalzalah : 7/8)

Perfect taqwa requires that one performs all voluntary and recommended acts as well as refraining from all reprehensible and dubious acts. This is the ultimate from taqwa. (Jamiul Uloom wal Hikam: 190/191)


My dear sister in Islam, Taqwa is an abundant treasure, a precious trait, an honorable substance, a great success and it assembles the best of both worlds.
So those who have taqwa are the friends of Allah. Allah has promised success at the time of death and deliverance from Hell on the Day of Judgement. The will abide forever in Paradise next to their Gracious Lord.


So be informed, my sister! Are you among those who have taqwa, or are you with the transgressors and oblivious? Do you fear Allah as these predecessors feared him, or do you fall short of that?


May Allah make us from His pious servants; grant us residence through His Grace in the Land of the Pure. Ameen...


My reconcilement is only with Allah. It's upon Him that I lay my trust and it's to Him that I resort.

True Love

Assalamualaikum wr. wb.

Peace Be Upon You...

How are you doing my lovely sisters?

Hope you are doing great and stay in Allah's way.

Have you ever been in love?

Or are you in love right now?

Umm... well... let's talk about it :)

Love...

What love really is?

I'm sure everyone has their own meaning about love.

According to wikipedia,

Love is the emotion of strong affection and personal attachment. In philosophical context, love is a virtue representing all of human kindness, compassion and affection. 

In religious context, love is not just a virtue, but the basis for all being  (God is Love) and the foundation for all divine law (Golden Rule).

Well, everyone has the right to love and to be loved.

But... wait,

we gotta know which one is the true love.

So we won't get hurt.

Let's take a look on what Dr. Aaidh Al Qarni says in his book, La Tahzan.

To find true happiness, you must be from those who love Allah. The most prosperous person is the one whose mission in life is to achieve the love of Allah, a love that Allah refers to in this verse: 

"Allah will bring a people whom He will love and they will love Him..." (Qur'an 5: 54)

"Say [D' Muhammad to mankind]: If you [really] love Allah then follow me [i.e. accept Islamic Monotheism, follow the Qur'an and the Sunnah], Allah will love you and, forgive you of your sins."  (Qur'an 3: 31)

The Prophet (PBUH) announced for all to know a superior merit of `Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) a merit that was like a crown upon his head: the Prophet (Blessings and Peace be upon him) described him as a man,

"Who loved Allah and His Messenger, and whom Allah and His Messenger loved?"
One of the Prophet's Companions loved the following chapter of the Qur'an:

Say [O' Muhammad]: He is Allah, [the] One.' (Qur 'an 112: 1)

He would repeat it in each unit of the prayer, and he would constantly read it at other times as well to give solace to his heart and spirit. The Prophet (PBUH) said to him:

"Your love for it is what has made you to enter Paradise."

I found the following lines in a biography of a Muslim scholar: 

"If the love of the roaming one for Sulma And Laila, takes away one's mind and one's faculty of reasoning, Then what do you suppose will be the case for he Whose heart throbs for the higher world."

And [both] the Jews and the Christians say: 'We are the children of Allah and His loved ones, why then does He punish you for your sins? '.   (Qur'an 5: 18)

The story of Majnoon's love for Laila is well known. His extreme love for her killed him; whereas for Qaroon (Korah) it was the love of wealth; and for Fir'aun (Pharaoh) it was the love of position and power. On the other hand, there is Hamza, Ja'afar, and Hanzala (may Allah be pleased with them all), who all died for their love of Allah and His Messenger. Vast is the distance that separates these three noble Companions in their love and those believers who are like them - from the rest.

Islamic Expressions (Arabic)

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu,
May Peace be upon you everyone..

I'd like to tell you about some Islamic expressions which commonly used in daily conversations.
Actually I'm really interested in learning Arabic someday. I wish I could learn it and speak Arabic fluently. Because there are so many advantages if we do know Arabic well.
One of the great advantages is that we can easily understand the holy Qur'an.

Well, these are a few of Islamic expressions in Arabic:

MashAllah
What Allah wishes
It is often used in occasions where there is surprise in someones’ good deeds or achievements. For example people say Mashallah when someone does very well in their exams.

SubhanAllah
Perfect Glory is to God or “Glorified is Allah”

AMEEN-
A supplication (dua) meaning, “O Allah, respond to (or answer) what we have said”.

ASSALAMU ALAYKUM
“Peace be upon you” the greeting of the muslim
[the reply is "wa alaikumus salam"

which means "and peace be upon you".

The fuller version reads "assalam u alaikum wa rahmatulahi wa baakatuhu"

which means "peace be upon you and the blessings and mercy of Allah"

the reply is "wa alaikumus salam wa rahmatulahi wa baakatuhu" ]

ALLAHU AKBAR
The Arabic expression meaning “Allah is greatest.” Also called the takbir

ALLAHU ALEM
An Arabic expression meaning “Allah knows best”

AL HAMDU LILAH WA SHUKRU LILLAH-
The Arabic expression meaning which means “Praise belongs to Allah and all thanks to Allah”

AMMA BAAD-
An expression used for separating an introductory from the main topics in a speech; the introductory being usually concerned with Allahs praises and glorification. Literally it means “whatever comes after”

ASTAGFURILLAH-
The Arabic expression meaning “I ask forgiveness of Allah”

AUDHU BILLAHI MIN ASH SHAYTAN AR RAJIM-
The Arabic expression meaning “I seek protection in Allah from the accursed satan”.

This phraze is often recited to ward away evil and before saying bismillahi rahman ar-Raheem before reading the Quran or other activities

AZZA WA JAL-
A formula used after the mentioning the name of Allah meaning “Mighty and Majestic is He”
BARAKALLAH FIK-
An expression which means “May the blessings of Allah be upon you.”

When a muslims wants to thank another person, he uses different statements to express his thanks, appreciation and gratitude. One of them is BarakAllah

BISMILLAH AR RAHMAN AR RAHIM-
The bismillah. “In the name of Allah, the all Merciful the all Compassionate.”
[this is also translated as in the name of Allah most gracious most merciful]

FI AMANALLAH-
Valedictory phrase meaning “In Allahs protection”

It is used like goodbye as used by English.

FI SABILILLAH-
The Arabic expression meaning “In the way of Allah”, “For the cause of Allah” [also used to mean "for the love of Allah"]

Giving sadaqah (charity) for the sake of Allah is known as sadaqah fee sabilillah as this act of charity is not required by Islam but it is only recommended. There is lots of thawab for this type of charity.

HADHRAT/HAZRAT-
Literally “Presence”; a term of address roughly equivalent to “Your Honour”

HASBALA-
The Arabic expression, “Hasbunallah wa nimalwakil” meaning “Allah is enough for us and an excellent guardian”. Usually known as “Hasbi Allah”

HAWQALA-
The Arabic expression, “la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah” which means “There is no power nor strength save (expect) by Allah”

INNA LILLAHI WA INNA ILAYHI RAJIUN-
This is something which a muslim expresses when he is afflicted by a misfortune, the meaning of which is “We are from Allah and to Him are we returning.” It is taken from an ayat (verse) from the Quran (ch 2 vs 156).
[this is usually said upon hearing of the death of an individual]

INSHALLAH-
The Arabic expression meaning “If Allah wills”
[this is usually said when referring to a situation in the future e.g. inshAllah I will go to the grocery shop tomorrow etc]

ISTIGHFAR-
To ask the forgiveness of Allah, especially by saying, Astagfuralah, “I seek the forgiveness of Allah”
To seek Allahs forgiveness. It is something that must be done continuously in a Muslims life

ISTITHNA-
Exception, saying “InshAllah”, “If Allah wills”

ITAQILLAH-
The Arabic expression meaning “Fear Allah” – i.e. To fear to do something (i.e. a bad action), knowing that Allah is always watching.

JALLA JALALUH-
The formula said after the name of Allah meaning “Great is His Majesty”

JAZAKALLAHU KHAIRAN-
This is a statement of thanks and appreciation to be said to a person who does a favour. Instead of saying “shukran” (thanks), this phrase is used. It means “May Allah reward you with good”.

KARAM ALLAHU WAJHAHU-
“May Allah honour him”, a formula used when Ali ibn Abi Talib (RadiAllahu Taala anhu) is mentioned

LABBAYK-
“At your service”, the talbiya or call of the pilgrim to his Lord in the hajj.

[the full talbiya is "LabbaykAllah huma Labbayk, LabbaykAllah sharee kalala Labbayk, innal hamda, wa naimata lakawulmulk la shareekala"

which means

"Here I am O Lord, here I am, Oh Allah, here I am. Here I am. You have no partner. Here I am. Surely all praise, grace and dominion is yours, and you have no partner."]

LA HAWLA WALA QUWWATA ILLA BILLAH-
The meaning of this expression is “There is no power nor strength save in Allah”. This is said by a muslim when he is struck with calamity, or is taken over by a situation beyond his control.

MA SALAMA-
“With peace”, a formula for ending letters

MASHALLAH-
A phrase literally meaning “What Allah wishes”, and it indicates a good omen
[example of usage, I get an A in a test, my mother would say MashAllah]

MALWANA
“Our master”, a term of respect
[usually used in the context of referring to the Prophet (pbuh) also however used in the context of referring to a learned individual e.g. scholar or imam]

RABBANA WA LAKAL_HAMD-
“Our Lord, Praise if yours”, said after rising from ruku after saying “sami Allahuliman hamidah”
[which means "Allah listens to the one who praises him"]

RADIYALLAHU ANHA-
The formula “May Allah be pleased with her” used after a female companion
[usually abbreviated as RA or RAA]

RADIYALLAHU ANHU-
This is an expression to be used by muslims whenever a name of a companion of the Prophet Muhammed is mentioned or used in writing. IT means “May Allah be pleased with him”
[usually abbreviated as RA or RAA]

RADIYALLAHU ANHUM-
The formula, “May Allah be pleased with them”, used after a group of companions
[usually abbreviated as RA or RAA]

RAHIMAHULLAH-
The formula, “May Allah have mercy on him”

SALLAHU ALAYHI WA SALLAM-
“May Allah bless him and grant him peace”, the formula spoken after the mentioning of the Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) usually the following two sets of abbreviations are used for this phrase (pbuh) which means “peace be upon him” and is the technical reply for all Prophets or (saws) the correct suffix when referring to the Prophet Muhammed (pbuh)

SAMI ALLAHU LIMAN HAMIDAH-
“Allah heard him who send praise to Him”, said by someone praying when he rises from ruku (unless he is following an imam in prayer)
[if he is following an imam in prayer he says "Rabana wala kalhamd" only]

SAYYIDUNA-
“Our Master”, a term of respect. Literally means “Lord” or “Master, or “Leader”
[usually used to refer to the Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) , however many people use it to refer to learned man / scholar . It is also frequently used to denote a descendant of the Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam)

SHUYUKH -
Magestic plural of Shaykh, literally meaning "Old man" - an honorific title widely used to denote scholars, as well as tribal chieftians and notables.

SIDI-
Colloquial for "Sayyidi" or "Sayyiduna" - My "Lord/Master/Leader" - an honorific term - especially popular in North Africa.

SUBHANALLAH-
"Glorified is Allah." To honour Allah andmake Him free from all (unsuitable evil things) that are ascribed to Him, (or "Glorified be Allah")

SUBHANAHU WA TAALA-
"Glorified is He and exalted," an expression that muslims use when the name of Allah is pronounced or written
[this us usually abbreviated as (swt)]

TAALA-
“Exalted is He”, an expression used after the name of Allah is mentioned
[i.e. Allah Ta"ala meaning, Allah, exalted be He]

TAAWWUDH-
Saying, “I seek refuge in Allah…” (audhu billahi minash shaitan nirajeem)

TABARAKALLAH-
The formula “Blessed is Allah” [usually used in the context of when one hears good news]

TAHMID-
Saying the expression “alhamdulillah”, which means “Praise belongs to Allah”

TAKBIR-
Saying “Allahu akbar”, which means “Allah is Great”

TALBIYA-
Saying “Labbayk”, which means “At your service” during the hajj

TAMJID-
Glorifying Allah

TARDIYA-
Saying one of the expressions which begin with “radiyallahu….”

TASBIH-
Glorification, saying “SubhanAllah”, which means “Glory be to Allah”

TASHMIT -
Uttering a prayer for the sneezer which thes the form, “yarhamuk Allah” which means “may Allah have mercy on you”
[when a person sneezes he says, Ahamdulillah (Praise be to Allah), a person who hears the sneeze says "yarhamuk Allah" and the sneezer replies "Yahdikumul-lah wa Yuslih balakum" which means "May Allah give you guidance and improve your condition."]

ULAMA -
Scholars, or learned men. Especially applied to religious scholars, but often used also for those learned in other branches of knowledge.

WAJHULLAH -
“The face of Allah”, meaning for the sake of Allah, irrespective of any reward in this life, purely for Allah”

ZAWIYA -
Lodge of religious order or fraternity.

A Righteous Woman is Like The Sun Who Always Enlighten The World

Assalamualaikum my blessed sisters...

This time I'd like to share my opinion about 'Righteous Woman'.
I remembered one of the authentic hadith of Prophet Muhammad (May Allah's  Peace Be Upon Him). He says:

"The whole world is pleasure, and the best pleasure of the world is the righteous woman." (Muslim)

A Righteous Muslimah is one who always behave well towards her husband. She loves her husband for the sake of Allah, obeys his commands, makes him happy every time he looks at her. A righteous wife is not going to burden her husband with a variety of demand. She always willingly accepts whatever given by her husband.

Rasulullah (PBUH) praised this kind of woman and called her as 'ideal woman' that should be chosen by man.

"A Muslim man can acquire no benefit after Islam greater than a Muslim wife who makes him happy when he looks at her, obeys him when he commands her, and protects him when he is away from her in herself and in his property." (Nasa'i)

Oh Righteous Muslimah...

You are like the sun who always enlighten the world with your akhlak.

You are more beautiful than the flowers with your iman.

You are more glorious than the moon with your humble heart.

May Allah allow us to be righteous women and grant us life partner who can be  good 'imam' for us.

Woman...

Assalamualalikum my blessed sisters,
May Allah's peace and blessings be upon you...


When I was reading an islamic book titled "Keluarga Sakinah" (Sakinah Family), I found an Indonesian poem titled "Wanita" (Woman). It's written by Drs. Umay M. Dja'far Shiddieq.

I'm interested to translate it into English and share it here. Check this out:

Woman...

She. . . is made from man's rib.

Not from his head, to be his superior.

Nor from his feet, to be stepped on.

But. . .

From his side, to accompany him

Under his hands, to be protected by him. .

Close to his heart to be loved by him. .

I feel it really touches my heart.
And thats so true. :')

Well,that's why woman should be proud of herself and protect her womanhood by following what Allah told her to do.

Your Home is The Palace of Your Glory and Love

Assalamualaikum wr.wb.

Peace be upon you...

How are you doing my smart and honored sisters?

I hope you are always in good condition with Allah's mercy.

What do you think about women nowadays?

Most of them like to go outside, spend their times by hanging out with friends to the mall or alike. They don't wanna stay in their houses because they were afraid to be considered as socially challenged.

Whereas, Your home is the palace of your glory and love.

Let's take a look on what Allah SWT says in the holy Qur'an.

"And stay in your houses, and do not display yourselves like that of the times of ignorance, and perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and give Zakat and obey Allah and His Messenger." (Al-Ahzab:33)

Now, let's see what Dr. Aaidh Al Qarni says in his book which I've translated into English.

You'd better understand this, 

indeed, the cheap girls are those who often go to the mall or alike without any important business. They're just following the culture and trend. Ironic, most of them enter the mall just to look for unimportant things which is not recommended by the religion, not in accordance with risalah da'wah and has nothing to do with knowledge and education.

In short, all they do is just in vain, useless and too excessive. Moreover, if their purpose is trivial, such as just look for the newest clothing mode.

Oh loyal muslimah,

Stay in your home. Because your home is the place where the happiness and peacefulness live. Let your home becomes the source of love and compassion. Just like an angel who always stays in heaven...

May Allah help us to be righteous muslimah and keep us away from the temptation of shaitan. Ameen...

Beauty Tips For Muslimah

Assalamualaikum my blessed sisters...
May Allah peace and blessings be upon you all.

Every woman wants to look beautiful, right?
Let's take a look on our society nowadays.
Most of women spend their money just to look beautiful.
They're not afraid of Allah. They're just following the trend or what they like to do.
Well, perhaps some of them are beautiful,
but just from the outside. But what if they failed to beautify themselves, whereas they had spent so much money?

Oh honored muslimah,

Don't let yourself be carried away by the temptation of shaitan (devil).

Just believe, outlook doesn't guarantee someone's beauty.

You are gonna be different if you have inner beauty.That is more important than outter.

That's the real beauty. 

As a muslimah, we have to keep our beauty.

Because Allah is beautiful and He loves beauty.

When I was browsing videos on youtube, I found a video which is titled 'Beauty Tips For Muslimah' and I'd like to share with you all my lovely sisters in Islam.

And here are the tips:

1- To beautify your eyes, lower your gaze towards strange men; this will make your eyes pure and shiny.

2- To beautify your face and make it shiny, keep doing wudhu minimum five times a day.

3- To have attractive lips, always mention Allah and remember to speak the truth.

4- As for blush and rouge, “Modesty” (Haya) is one of the best brands and it can be found in any of the Islamic centers.

5- To remove impurities from your face and body, use a soap called “Istighfaar” (seeking forgiveness of Allah) this soap will remove many bad deeds.

6- Now about your hair, if any of you has a problem of split ends, then I suggest “Islamic Hijab” which will protect your hair from damage.

7- As for jewelry, beautify your hands with humbleness and let your hands be generous and give charity to the poor.

8- To avoid heart disease, forgive people who hurt your feelings.

9- Your necklace should be a sign to pardon your fellow brothers and sisters.

If you follow these advices, you will have a beautiful and attractive inner and outer appearance, insha Allah.
 

Abu Mas’ud ‘Uqbah bin ‘Amr al-Ansari al-Badri, radiyallahu ‘anhu, reported that the Messenger of Allah, sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam, said:
“Among the things that people have found from the words of the previous prophets was: ‘If you feel no shame, then do as you wish.’”

I hope you know,beauty comes from Inside not just from physical appearance.
May Allah help us all, and show us the right path…

When death came to The Messengger of Allah (Peace be upon him)

Assalamualaikum, my dear sister in Islam.
When I was browsing videos on Youtube, I accidentally found a video which titled "Narasi Detik detik menjelang perginya kekasih Allah". It's the narrative video when Rasulullah (PBUH) was about to die.

I was so touched and couldn't stand to hold my tears. Here is the text of this video in Bahasa Indonesia. Because the video is in Bahasa Indonesia too.

Ada sebuah kisah tentang totalitas cinta yang dicontohkan Allah lewat kehidupan Rasul-Nya. Pagi itu, meski langit telah mulai menguning, burung-burung gurun enggan mengepakkan sayap. Pagi itu, Rasulullah dengan suara terbata memberikan petuah, 

"Wahai umatku, kita semua ada dalam kekuasaan Allah dan cinta kasih-Nya. Maka taati dan bertakwalah kepada-Nya. Ku wariskan dua hal pada kalian, sunnah dan Al Qur'an. Barang siapa mencintai sunnahku, berarti mencintai aku dan kelak orang-orang yang mencintaiku, akan bersama-sama masuk surga bersama aku." 

 Khutbah singkat itu diakhiri dengan pandangan mata Rasulullah yang teduh menatap sahabatnya satu persatu. Abu Bakar menatap mata itu dengan berkaca-kaca, Umar dadanya naik turun menahan napas dan tangisnya. Ustman menghela napas panjang dan Ali menundukkan kepalanya dalam-dalam. Isyarat itu telah datang, saatnya sudah tiba. "Rasulullah akan meninggalkan kita semua," desah hati semua sahabat kala itu.

 Manusia tercinta itu, hampir usai menunaikan tugasnya di dunia. Tanda-tanda itu semakin kuat, tatkala Ali dan Fadhal dengan sigap menangkap Rasulullah yang limbung saat turun dari mimbar. Saat itu, seluruh sahabat yang hadir di sana pasti akan menahan detik-detik berlalu, kalau bisa.

Matahari kian tinggi, tapi pintu Rasulullah masih tertutup. Sedang di dalamnya, Rasulullah sedang terbaring lemah dengan keningnya yang berkeringat dan membasahi pelepah kurma yang menjadi alas tidurnya. Tiba-tiba dari luar pintu terdengar seorang yang berseru mengucapkan salam.

"Bolehkah saya masuk?" tanyanya. 

Tapi Fatimah tidak mengizinkannya masuk, "Maafkanlah, ayahku sedang demam," kata Fatimah yang membalikkan badan dan menutup pintu. 

Kemudian ia kembali menemani ayahnya yang ternyata sudah membuka mata dan bertanya pada Fatimah, "Siapakah itu wahai anakku?" "Tak tahulah aku ayah, sepertinya ia baru sekali ini aku melihatnya," tutur Fatimah lembut. 

Lalu, Rasulullah menatap putrinya itu dengan pandangan yang menggetarkan. Satu-satu bagian wajahnya seolah hendak dikenang.

"Ketahuilah, dialah yang menghapuskan kenikmatan sementara, dialah yang memisahkan pertemuan di dunia. Dialah malaikatul maut," kata Rasulullah.

Fatimah pun menahan ledakan tangisnya. Malaikat maut datang menghampiri, tapi Rasulullah menanyakan kenapa Jibril tak ikut menyertai. Kemudian dipanggillah Jibril yang sebelumnya sudah bersiap diatas langit dunia menyambut ruh kekasih Allah dan penghulu dunia ini. "Jibril, jelaskan apa hakku nanti dihadapan Allah? " tanya Rasululllah dengan suara yang amat lemah.

"Pintu-pintu langit telah terbuka, para malaikat telah menanti ruhmu. Semua surga terbuka lebar menanti kedatanganmu," kata Jibril. Tapi itu ternyata tak membuat Rasulullah lega, matanya masih penuh kecemasan. "Engkau tidak senang mendengar kabar ini? " tanya Jibril lagi. "Kabarkan kepadaku bagaimana nasib umatku kelak?" "Jangan khawatir, wahai Rasul Allah, aku pernah mendengar Allah berfirman kepadaku: 'Kuharamkan surga bagi siapa saja, kecuali umat Muhammad telah berada didalamnya," kata Jibril.

Detik-detik semakin dekat, saatnya Izrail melakukan tugas. Perlahan ruh Rasulullah ditarik. Tampak seluruh tubuh Rasulullah bersimbah peluh, urat-urat lehernya menegang. 

"Jibril, betapa sakit sakaratul maut ini." Lirih Rasulullah mengaduh. Fatimah terpejam, Ali yang di sampingnya menunduk semakin dalam dan Jibril membuang muka. "Jijikkah kau melihatku, hingga kaupalingkan wajahmu Jibril?"

Tanya Rasulullah pada Malaikat pengantar wahyu itu. "Siapakah yang tega, melihat kekasih Allah direnggut ajal," kata Jibril. 

Sebentar kemudian terdengar Rasulullah memekik, karena sakit yang tak tertahankan lagi. "Ya Allah, dahsyat nian maut ini, timpakan saja semua siksa maut ini kepadaku, jangan pada umatku".

Badan Rasulullah mulai dingin, kaki dan dadanya sudah tak bergerak lagi.

Bibirnya bergetar seakan hendak membisikkan sesuatu, Ali segera mendekatkan telinganya. "Uushiikum bis shalati, wa maa malakat aimanukum, peliharalah shalat dan santuni orang-orang lemah di antaramu." Di luar pintu tangis mulai terdengar bersahutan, sahabat saling berpelukan. Fatimah menutupkan tangan diwajahnya, dan Ali kembali mendekatkan telinganya ke bibir Rasulullah yang mulai kebiruan.

"Ummatii, ummatii, ummatiii" - "Umatku, umatku, umatku" 

Dan, pupuslah kembang hidup manusia mulia itu. Kini, mampukah kita mencinta sepertinya? 

Allahumma sholli 'ala Muhammad wa baarik wasalim 'alaihi. Betapa cintanya Rasulullah kepada kita. Kirimkan kepada sahabat-sahabat muslim lainnya agar timbul kesadaran untuk mencintai Allah dan RasulNya, seperti Allah dan RasulNya mencinta kita. Karena sesungguhnya selain daripada itu hanyalah fana belaka.

Truly, I couldn't stop my tears. How huge The Prophet's love to us. Till his last breathed, just ummatii.. ummatii (my people.. my people..)that came out of his mouth. He was really worried about us.

Now, just look at ourselves. Have we loved him as well as he loves us?

Truly we've wronged ourselves. What will we say in front of him in yaumil akhir later?
