Mom..

"Your mom, your mom, your mom..." said The Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him)
Well, I suddenly remembered a hadith of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) regarding to the position of mother. He also said that paradise lies on our mother's feet. I miss my mom suddenly (as I mentioned before I live in a boarding house now and have to be apart from my family).  I'm interested to write a poem about mom.
How important she is in my life. Check this out:

MOM...

Mom..
I've been loving you since the first time I've opened my eyes.

You are the one who always looks after me.
You are the best teacher in all over the world.
You always teach me right from wrong.
You are there with me, when others have no concern about me.

Mom..
All the times you cared for me.
But I never realized it.
All the times I caused you pain and burden.
But you don't mind with it.

O my angel..
O light of my eyes..
O comfort of my nights.
Who, other you, will embrace me?
Who, other you, will wipe  my tears away?

O Mom...
Please forgive me...
I promise, I will never let you down anymore..

Congratulation My Sisters. . .

Assalamualaikum my sisters...
Peace be upon you...

I found a great quotation from La Tahzan book.
It's really touched my heart when I read it.
Check this out:

Congratulation for My Sisters...

Congratulation for My Sisters …
Who do Shalat, make fast (shaum) and obey Allaah

Congratulation for My Sisters …
Who cover their awraah, modest, shy, serene, and self-dignify

Congratulation for My Sisters …
Who loves to study, loves to read, aware, and walking this right path

Congratulation for My Sisters …
Who always take seriously their promises, trustworthy, right, and
loves to give shadaqah

Congratulation for My Sisters …
Who is patient, have istiqamah, and always make taubat

Congratulation for My Sisters …
Who love to make dhikr, who always say thank you and praising Allaah,
and who love to make du'a

Congratulation for My Sisters …
Who follow the steps of Asiyah (Fir'aun's wife), Maryam, and Khadijah

Congratulation for My Sisters …
Who educate heroes and edify the knights of Islaam

Congratulation for My Sisters …
Who keep the truth and continue to make good examples

Congratulation for My Sisters …
Who stay away from things that are not allowed

Masha Allah...

Dr. 'Aaidh Abdullah Al Qarni truly knows how to string words into a poem that touches.
So, be proud of your identity as a MUSLIMAH.
Because Allah has guided your heart and allow you to be a muslim woman.
Once again,
Congratulation my sisters,
Say it proudly, I LOVE BEING MUSLIMAH

Wassalamualaikum,

Why Hijab?

Assalamualaikum everyone...
May Allah's peace and blessings be upon you my lovely sisters in Islam.

Why do Muslim women have to cover their heads with hijab?
The answer simple - Muslim women wearing HIJAB because Allah has told them to do so.

It is mentioned in the Qur'an:
"And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; and that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what must ordinarily appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands..." (Qur'an 24:30-31)
What is hijab?
According to cometoislam.com ,
The word "hijab" comes from the Arabic word "hajaba" meaning to hide from view or conceal. In the present time, the context of hijab is the modest covering of a Muslim woman.
As a muslimah, we have to realize that hijab is our true identity. It is not an oppression. But it preserves our modesty, our dignity, and our obedience to Allah.

I found a video in youtube which explain why we should wear hijab.
The title of the video is "Why Hijab"
It's a short movie about hijab. Staring Amy Jordan and directed by Farzad Wafapoor.
This is really a great video  because it gives us the reasons why we should wear hijab. Wearing hijab that would be a good thing to do. Hijab is not an oppression, but it's our freedom.
And I'm absolutely agree with this.
Freedom is doing the right things without fearing other people. The right things in this context is doing what Allah told us to do.

Here is the video :

So, how do you think about that short movie?
I hope this video would bring you such a brand new view about hijab.
My sister, Islam really has a great respect for women. That's why Allah told us to protect ourselves from harm by wearing the hijab.

Congratulation to you my sister who wear hijab, because Allah has guided your heart to wear it :)
And for my sister who are still afraid to wear hijab, afraid to be different, may Allah guide you to wear it. Wearing hijab is a good thing to do. Hijab is not just a piece of clothes, but it shows your modesty, dignity and obedience to Allah.
May Allah bless us and keep us away from the temptation of shaitan. Ameen...

Ponder this quote:
A woman in a Hijab is just like a PEARL in its shell..
Wassalam,
Siti Fatimah Zahra :)

About me...

In the name of Allah...

Assalamualaikum wr wb
May peace be upon you all ...

Thank you and welcome to my page.

I’d like to introduce myself :)
My name is Fatima Zahra. You can call me Fatima or Zahra. I’m so thankful coz my parents have given me such a lovely name. Yes, my name is similar to the name of Prophet’s (Peace Be Upon Him) daughter. That’s why I’m so glad and proud having this name.

Fatima RA (May Allah Be Pleased With Her) is one of the best women in all over the world, as mentioned by Rasulullah (Peace Be Upon Him):

"Of all the women in the Universe, four would suffice: Mary, Asiya, Khadija, and Fatima."
I wish I could follow her to be a righteous muslimah, Insha Allah...

I was born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia, on November 13th, 1992 (guess, how old I am now? ;)). Right now, I sit as a student of Gunadarma University majoring English Literature. I'm also thankful that I live in a country where Muslims are the majority of its people. When the time to pray comes, the beautiful voice of Adhan can be heard almost everywhere :')

Alhamdulillah, recently I got a scholarship from my university. It was a double-degree scholarship. So, within 4 years I'm going to complete my Bachelor + Master degree. Insha Allah. It was really a great blessing from Allah. Alhamdulillah.
My hobbies are reading, writing, listening to Quran recitation or Islamic nasheed and so on. I like to read any kind of book, but especially, the holly Qur’an, Islamic literature, novel, encyclopedia, and English Literature (because it has to do with my major study). I love writing soooo much, especially short stories, poems etc.

I love reading because I realized that there are so many benefits of it. One of the great benefits is it allows human mind to create its own view of the world portrayed in the book. So with reading, we can explore the world without going anywhere. At the same time, we can also increase our knowledge and brush away our boredom and loneliness feeling.

I have a dream that someday I could explore the world to convey the message of my religion. Islam, the religion of peace. I know it isn’t as easy as winking eyes. But whatever it is, how hard it seems, I never want to give up.

I wanna be a righteous woman who always dedicates her life to God and who will be worth it for a pious future husband later. Insha Allah :)

I’m also an open minded person. I never wanna force anyone to follow my opinions. I just wanna show the world that Islam has nothing to do with terrorism,,violence, etc yet Islam teaches us to care and love each other. Islam is the religion of peace. I wanna spread the world about 'the beauty of Islam' through my writing. May Allah allow me to make my dream comes true. Aameen... Insha Allah
Last but not least, I really would like to say that “I’M A MUSLIMAH AND I’M PROUD TO BE ONE!”
May Allah shower His endless love and blessings upon us.
Hope you'll enjoy my writings. I'm waiting for your feed back :)
Wassalamualaikum wr wb...

Fatima Zahra :)
